Hi !
I applied for adjustment of status (I-485) based on DV-2006 diversity visa lottery on November and I was schedule for interview at May. The moment AOS is applied and scheduled for interview will the visa number blocked for me.

P.S. This is DV based AOS !!

The DV lottery has an annual limit of visa numbers issued.


If you have filed I-485 and the cap is reached, you might not be able to adjust your status.

Check with a lawyer ASAP for move the case forward.

I did not hire any lawyer. How can I forward my case? I already schedule for interview.
