Is it true that some BCIS officers are liberal, especially in the northeast, and they are pretty laid back during AOS interviews?

If that's true, it certainly makes a difference where you should file AOS in the country to get a greencard. Many attornies actually brought this issue up when I enquired about AOS in the northeast, I will not get into the specifics on which district offices they were referring to.

I would like to hear your opinion on this. Feel free to speak from your mind, and experiences.

Sounds like a crock of **** to me. There are liberals and conservatives in all offices. I certainly wouldn't bank on there being more liberals in the northeast USCIS offices.

Certainly not anymore than in Ohio.

I disagree that there is a systemic direction of decisions in certain BCIS offices that makes AOS easier.

Using the same reasoning, maybe some bank branches give loans easier, hence one can open an account there.

Or some kind of ****** are more generous than others hence you should hit on them more often.

I dont think you can generalize BCIS offices and categorize them. Those are called stereotypes, same as those others I gave you above.

I think it's a mistake to think that to be liberal is to be immigrant-friendly, and also to think that conservatives are anti-immigrant nazis (hence Bush's temporary worker card proposal).

In my experience, hispanic/latino immigration officers in the southern border are the most difficult to deal with, and you would think it should be the opposite.

From my experience, the only times I was treated like trash at the INS was when I was dealing with Latinas and Filipinas who were old hags with strong accents. They were very rude and full of hatred. Don't ever try to joke around those people, don't even smile at then. They seem incapable to stand the thought of someone being happy.

Immigration officers who actually grew up in this country have always been very nice, somewhat laid back and polite.

I have no desire to insult people who are from regions above, just sharing an observation.
