I believe the requirements for immigrant and non-immigrant visa medical exam are different. Most likely he'll have another medical examination for immigrant status.
Cheers.

Thank you for your response. My next question is, will my husband have to have another medical exam. He has already had two, one at the original filing and one at the consulate? Any further advise is greatly appreciated.

Now you can file for adjustment of status (I-485 etc.) based on the approved I-130.
Cheers.

Here is the simple version of where we stand right now.
Original filing for spouse in July 2002.
Work Auth received Sept. 2002
Husband left without AP April 2003
Received Notice of I-485 "Considered Abanonded April 2003
I-130 Interview and Filed for K-3 Visa May 2003
Visa App approved Feb 2004
Consulate interview April 2004/ Received K-3
My husband returned Home April 2004
I-130 Approved April 2005
Of course there is more to this story, but what we really need to know is what is our next step.
