    Wondering is probably what you do best . Im not here for rhetorical debate with you. That would just be foolish on my part. I dont want someone to make a mistake here that may cause a problem later. This is why they came to the forum.. looking for accurate answers.

    The key words are: " Have you ever been arrested"

    Thats correct marmaduk. DUI is both criminal and traffic in many states. DMV takes care of administrative part of the court(relative to your driving record only)/while the criminal arrest is taken care of in court system. Both violations are heard usually before the same Judge.

    Aggravated DUI coupled with reckless driving can actually be candidate for crime of moral turpitude in eyes of USCIS. Single count DUI is not CMT.

    Arrested/fingerprinted and convicted.
    It's most likely going to show up in the system and the background checks.
