  • Naturalization Interview

I paid all the Naturalization fees (quite hefty), submitted all necessary forms and passed the Naturalization Interview? Yet, a decision could not be rendered because a T-File is missing? I don't even know what a T-File is - I asked the officer, but the officer said that it was document I needed and it would take a few weeks. Well, it's been almost a year and three letters sent to USCIS for Status have gone unanswered. Wondering if anyone has experience this outcome and how they got it solved -- what else can be done... thanks in advance for any answers suggestions...

Did you make an infopass appointment to talk to an officer? If haven't, I suggest you do that. That might be the easiest way to find out what happened to your case. If you have had an infopass, you should sue them immediately. Under the law, you can sue the USCIS after 120 days of your interview to force them to move on your case.

      Good luck,

Thanks for the reply -- I attempted to setup an appointment via InfoPass to no avail. My requests for a status went unaswered as I mentioned. My next to due, is to send a final letter to request a hearing (should have done it after 120 days). Suing my be my next option, but I guess that I would need a lawyer... thanks again.
