Bluetee, I think she will have to change the address as well because her PRIMARY address is changing.
I think changing address is OK esp to comply with the law.
Yes you need to change the address when the house is sold because otherwise how will you get your mail? I also adviced that you cover your bases by taking the other steps.
Key thing is dont trust that USCIS will update your address just coz you ask them to, thats why you need the extra steps.
By the way, what does the name chuki mean?

right, that's true, i forgot that the house is being sold. I think it's a good idea to notify the people who buy your house, just in case. INS mail can't be forwarded through the postal service, but you can have them put it in another envelope and sent to you.
And definitely call the INS a million times to make sure the address change is in their system. don't trust them to do it until you've confirmed that they have it.
