And there's the reason why the Stimulus package happened...to prevent unemployment reaching 15 or 20%. Yes you're right, eventually the economy would have sorted itself out, but the cost would have been too high IMO. I lived through the Thatcher years in UK and unemployment was terrible. If we lowered taxes instead of had the stimulus spending, this recession would have been long over. This was proven by Kennedy, Reagan, Clinton, and even the moron Bush Jr.'s tax cut plans (Bush's other policiea are what doomed us). This propaganada that it would have been worse is just Obama's justification for this massive unemployment. The normal recession averages 14 months; this is now 18 months. Bush/Obama's bailout/stimulus plan has failed. People are unemployed, hungry,, starving because of people like Brit and Koller.
We need useful idiots like them though to pay 15% for credit card debt to get me a 3 % "stimulus" mortgage. Ha ha. Isn't that ironic; they voted for Obama and I didn't; but I get the benefit while they pay. Gotta Love it.Comment
