Hi All, my husband used to tell me he uses this site to get help with immigration issue and now i want to get advice here. I am a USC and we married after dating for 4 years. Part of me married him becase i loved him, but i also loved him because he is such a good guy and has so much potential that i felt bad that he wasnt able to do anything. plus he had so many responsibilities, etc. Anyways, we married and to this date i love him alot, but we come from very different backgrounds and cultures. We have been trying to make our marriage work, but we just cant give up so much of our families to be with eachother. so we are thinking about splitting up, or i am thinking about it more than he.
We married and he got his green card, then we applied for his condition to get removed from his 2 year green card and that process went well. my question is, will he be ok in terms of his status in this country if we divorce? Will he lose this green card or anything thing like that or have to move back to his home country? Will he have trouble traveling outside the country, working, etc? I am not very familiar with this issues becuase he usually did the research and talked to the lawyer and kept me in the loop. I just want to make sure he will be ok in terms of his status before i file for divorce. any advice or direction or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. thanks much in advance.
