    Arun:

I read the Guide to Naturalization, and if you place the USCIS statement into context, what it means is that the petitioner should present a valid marriage certificate for current marriage, (documents proving termination of any previous marriage, if applicable) and documents referring to you and your spouse.

Such documents can be EITHER (a) OR (b) OR (c). Hope that clears it up for you.

It seems obvious to me (am I missing something?) that if you have B., you don't need C. But why not take A. and B. or A. and C.? How much trouble is it to take all when it is so important?

The language as it is posted here suggests that either (a), (b) or (c) would be appropriate, however, it does not make sense to me. Is this excerpt taken verbatim from the guide? Although I have not consulted the guide, it would appear that what it meant to suggest is that the petitioner should submit all listed in (a) and if petitioner does not have copies of tax returns, he/she can submit (b) or (c) in lieu.

Immigration Guide Document check list says,

    4. Documents referring to you and your spouse:
    a. Tax returns, bank accounts, leases, mortgages or birth certificates of children, OR

    b. IRS -Certified copies of income tax forms that you both filed for the past 3 years, OR

    c. An IRS Tax return transcript for the last 3 years.

Now, its not neccessary to send all 3 (a,b,c) right ?

Because it says one or the other. Can someone confirm this.

Also has anyone NOT sent tax transcirpts ?
