    While she has tangled herself in a mess that is one of bad behavior, I can't agree that this woman is giving Brits a bad name, for one reason. She has been honest here and is one overstayer who expresses regret about it. She has stated she is anxious and worried, admitted her mistake, and has shown her sorrow and remorse. She has not tried to blame the US immigration laws or tried to create more secrets and fraud. She truly wants advice that allows her to be completely truthful and she's hoping that her honesty can be seen to gain favor in her situation and admiration of an INS interviewer, etc. She is also willing to pay the consequences if not. I think she should be applauded, not criticized.
