    1. I am self employed and write off everything. My income is over 21,000 and I have a dependant child, but with my writes offs, line 22 reads 8,000, will the consular at the embassy question this? Also, can I submit bank statements with my husbands interview or do I have to get a letter from the bank?

Likely it will be questioned, since after write offs, your net income (the funds you have available to cover day-to-day living expenses) is only $8,000. Consulates vary with regard to what they require, but submitting 12 months bank statements should suffice, if you cannot get a bank letter.
The above is simply an opinion. Your mileage may vary. For immigration issues, please consult an immigration attorney.
