Why don't you 'simply' go down to your DSC and make an inquiry in person? They are the one's who 'lost' it and will be the most effective on sorting out what the 'next steps' should be to get this sorted out.

Depending on which DSC you dealt with, you may need to make an INFOPASS app't before you go.

Yes, you do need to be fingerprinted for you green card.

When are your appointments for fingerprinting?

Fingerprints were already done, one for ead and the other ???, but we have not heard anything regarding status of fingerprints or document withheld at interview or just simply stauts of case.

FP needs to clear FBI background check. You can contact the FBI to see if the FP has been cleared by them and returned to USCIS.
