i'm in the process of extending H-1 and i would like to know if i need to pay another $ for fraud prevention and data collection fee. thanks in advance.

You have to pay the I-129 and the ACWIA fees like before but "not" the Fraud Prevention and Detection fee of $500 if you're being petitioned by the same employer.

And if at all possible, you must put it in within this week. The new filing fee scheme kicks in this coming Monday.
