My father just received his permanent green card approval notice. My mother's status is dependent on my father's. That's how she came into the United States as well. My mother's notice has not yet arrived. I realize that the USCIS sends out the notices separately but how long is too long before I can assume there was a clerical error?

Your father was employment sponser or you sponsered them family member?
In anyway... just have dad/mom make infopass appt. and you will get idea where her application stands.
