  • options to enter the usa

    Hi guys,

i have been trying to do some research into moving to New York for a couple of years and have had issues with data mining through all the different methods and websites around in the US who are claiming different things.

I live in Sydney - Australia and my brother and i are both qualified accountants with undergrad and postgraduate studies.

I have 4 years exp and he has 7 years.

Does America have a visa for skilled workers, like the UK, where you can enter and work in the country for a maximum of two years without any sponsorship or are our only options green card lottery and employer sponsorship from the US side.

Please help or direct me to some reliable information.

if anyone is interested, its a sunny 22, but a chilly breeze here in sydney on this Tuesday afternoon at 1pm

    Thanks in advance

If the goal is to temporarily work and then go back, then employer-sponsored H visa is the answer. However, there are some other visa categories which allow to stay in the US (+/- work), like B, F, J, O, to name just a few.
