1. Both side of his/her Green Card.
2. Two photos for each.
3. Money order for $390 each= Total $780.00
in favour of Department of Homeland Security.

He has received his all Tax transcripts from IRS for last four years, one year he did not work.
CAN HE MAILED HIS N-400 TO THE SERVICE CERNTER
THE FEE IS NONREFUNDABLE.

Have they completed the Naturalization Eligibility Worksheet?

If they think they are eligible, then follow the instructions, complete the N-400, and mail it to the Service Center. Each application is treated separately.

Lack of employemnt does not prohibit naturalization.

My friend enter on Immigration visa in May 2000, since then he has been residing in the US.
Never left out of US, and will complete his five years this may, 2005.

He has completed Eligibility Worksheet, since last Feb. 2004, he is in one State, which is under the TSC.
Hope he is ready to file for N-400

Q. My son, a 10-year permanent resident, has became unemployed. Will that cause him problems at his naturalization interview? He has tax returns for all the years he has worked.

A. Your son's being unemployed won't keep him from naturalizing. The rule for naturalization is different from the rule for most applications for permanent residence. The law doesn't require naturalization applicants to prove they can support themselves.

Even people receiving public assistance can naturalize. The naturalization laws require that if an applicant is required to file a tax return, he or she has filed that return. Applicants who haven't worked during a particular year need not provide a tax return for that year.

The same is true for someone who earned so little that the law doesn't require a return to be filed.
