    Well my husband file his application in Novenber 2006 and had his interview(also his english/history test) on July 9,2007 and around the 29th of July he got his notice for the oath cermony which was for August 10,2007. It was quite fast. the cermony is also quick it took about 1 hour. Good Luck

    FWIW: My wife's N-400 was handled out of Memphis. Her interview was in late November '05, and then I think we were notified in late December to appear in Federal court in late January '06 for the oath ceremony. So the interval was about a couple of months (the entire process being about a year). But, as mike2007 points out, your mileage may vary. --SJR

    After the naturalization interview, and everything is done, all documents etc is submitted, application and photos signed, How long does it take before a person receives the letter to go and swear in or do they give it to the person the same day? Can someone please advise...Thanks,,
