Citizenship and I-751

Yestarday I was for interview for citizenship and the officer found out that I was divorce 3 months before I got for approved for I-751.He also ask me questions for the citizenship and gave me list that I pass the citizenship.But he said that in this time he can not approve or denied my I-751 ,that he has to review again and is going to send me a letter over the mail for his decision.Do you thing he is going to approve my I-751 or denied? If he is going to denied than why he asked me question about the citizenship?
