  • AOS through NBC from Boston

    Recent changes to AOS suggests:

Filings to be Consolidated with the National Benefits Center. The Bureau of Citizenship and Immigration Services (BCIS) has commenced the consolidation of filings of family-based adjustment of status applications and naturalization applications through the National Benefits Center. The BCIS is rolling out this consolidation program throughout the country. The program has initially been implemented for states in the northwest part of the United States. The next part of the country to be covered will be for states in the Midwest and then additional states will be covered going around the country in a clockwise manner. The National Benefits Center will complete the initial processing of the applications, including the scheduling of fingerprints and adjudication of Employment Authorization Documents and Advance Parole Documents. The adjudication of these documents at the local district offices will be eliminated.

Anyone experienced these changes at the Boston office lately?

    Thanks
