  • I-130

I'm a bit confused on whether a USC needs to file an I-130 or F1, F2, etc for his 25 year old unmarried son? I read somewhere that the F category is faster. Is there any other form a USC needs to file beside I-130?

Does anyone know what is approximately the processing time for I-130 filed by USC?

    Thank you.

File I-130. F is visa catagory and not the form.

You can use form I-130 for 25 year old unmarried son.

It is in First preference: Unmarried Children over 21 year of age of U.S. Citizens. See www.greencardfamily.com/child/child_whatis.htm
