    You're confusing terminology. A waiver is not jointly endorsed. A jointly filed petition is one where parties are still married. An ex-spouse can provide an affidavit to accompany a waiver I751, to help to satisfy the USCIS requirement that the marriage was bona fide.

    In the event that an alien must file an I751 waiver, he/she would naturally have to prove the marriage was bona fide.
