You don't have to have several employees to get an initial E-2. You may have to have them to get an extension, though.
The significant investment is "relative."
Your a lawyer muhan- reach out to friends and colleagues and ask for recommendations for a good immigration attorney who specializes in E-2 investment visas.
Wrong, if you don't have a significant investment and employees, you may be arrested and placed in removal proceedings. E-2s are notorious in Honolulu for one man offices of all sorts of businesses and they are arrested quite frequently.

Why E-2 which is a nonimmigrant visa? Why not EB-1 or EB-2 with National Interest Waiver (NIW) request which is a shorter route to permanent residency? I've seen some licensed lawyers taking this route and succeeding.

Multiply this imbecile by a few thousand and get baffled no longer how they almost brought the US down to her knees.
Significant investment and employees are what you need for green card, not for E-2 non-immigrant visa. For the first E-2, you can start as a sole practitioner as long as you have a reasonable investment (~100,000) and a very good business plan. You have to plan on hiring more personnel and may need them by the time you apply for an extension. The important point is that the business not be marginal- in that you're not running a business to get a salary only.
And NoAmnesty best not be referring to me in mentioning Hindus. First off- nothing wrong with Hindus. Second- I'm Christian. My family was Christian before Christianity even made it beyond Italy.

Yet another baseless presumption by a high-caliber idiot.
