    their I-485 has just been approved about a couple of weeks ago. one k4 is under 18, which is understandable but other k4 is 20 now and he was 19 when k4 was issued. That is what is making me confused. The reason I mentioned 21 is because, under INA, individual is considered "child" as long as he/she is under 21.

    Adam thankyou. are u sure that the age cap is 26 not 21 years. Plus the children did not enter as LPRs rather they entered as K4 status. They filed I-485 here in USA. and got it approved.

    Child can claim his/her citizenship provided they can proof to the uscis they have entered US as Immigrant, and have LPR states, and since he/she is under 26 years of age and father being the citizen he/she can flie for his/her certificate of citizenship Form N-600.
