H1 just got approved and wants to tavel for vacation, but no H1 but never had visa stamp...Can one travel outside the uS and avoid applying a visa from a third country or going back to country of origin and be able to enter back tothe US. Can one re-enter only with H1 approval if say coming bcak from Europe.

No. You'll need the H1 stamp in your passport in order to gain entry to the US.
