    Hello,
I would like to apply for a skilled-worker visa with my partner.I work in the US but I am off the books. I won't have my W2 form as a proof that I was hired for a certain company.Would you share your experience with me?Can I show just copies of my checks?
    Thank You

Your employer needs to file the paperwork. Go to Dept of State and USCIS websites - it is all explained there.

If you want an H, there are no more available (unless you have a US Masters Degree or are otherwise exempt). Plus, you have to be in status. Plus, you can't be working illegally.
