    I filed I130 in 1995 for my daughter as LPR and she is in India and got married in 1998. Now I become US citizen in 2009 can we move her original I130 to 3rd preference and keep the original priority date, if that is possible then her visa is due now.
    I spoke to one immigration attorney he said its possible, since you guys are the expert please advice if its true or not.

      I agree. USCIS is quite more lenient on priority date retention for family petitions than for employment.
