Hi,
I have one more question. My friend , a US citizen, filled out a petition I-130 for his wife, who he married in Europe. The petition was filled in March , sent to Vermont. 3 weeks ago he got a notice that the case was transferred to California. Today the case status on line states:
Application Type: I130, IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN
Current Status: Document mailed to applicant.
On May 30, 2007 we mailed the document to the address we have on file. You should receive the new document within 30 days. If you do not, or if you move before you get it, call customer service.
Do you know what it means? I have never seen anything like this.
Thanks a lot.
