  • Question on spouses N400

    Here is my question,

My friend is about to get married this summer and his spouse to be is expecting to become a USC by the end of the year.
My friend has a pending Green card application that might take a couple of more years. Are there any requirements for a spouse to be a USC for a certain period of time before he or she can sponsor?

    Thanks,

    -Copper

On the day you become USC you have the same rights and privileges as someone who became USC 100 years ago, including becoming a sponsor.
