  • Moving and have an adjustment of status case pending in Houston TX

I accepted a job offer and will move. What is the best possible option to make sure that my wife's AOS pending in Houston is not lost?
    1. Have a local friend's houston address be the new address?
    2. Hire a lawyer to handle the case

We plan to move out of state. Your inputs are greatly appreciated

Try to keep the old address. Don't ever try to move your case from one SC to another. There are chances that they will lose the whole case in transit. My attorney suggested me the same. If you have to, just fill up the form AR-11 and inform immigration about your new address.
