    Actually, the officers who "greet" you at the border are customs officers. Immigration officers are different and do not meet you on the road. They have offices and counters inside.

    I am a PR of the US and a citizen of Canada (born there).

    Why do the border guards do anything? They ask for what they want and let you through with what they want. How is my "story" vague and confusing? Maybe you should phone up the officer atthe Chief Mountain crossing and ask him what he thought he was doing!!LOFL

        Antivirus,

        A US permanent resident does not need a Canadian Visitor Visa. You will have no problem at POE. You only have to show your greencard. I am speaking with my experience.

          What about Canadian Permanent Resident? Why does he need to have a US visa? That's unfair!
