    No offense to anyone here....

Why would u want to hurt your USC spouse ? he/she did support you all the way in this journey.... And if u had bad intention towards him/her... u would have left USC spouse before adjudication of ur I 751 .... Well don't expect any more answers from me on this one in a near future...but all I want to say be happy and let other be happy...no need to pull old s h i t out unless its unbearable ....good luck...Pasha

NJATTORNEY, you're right. I know that the practice is not easy, but I really thought that in immigration practice I would see less of people being so intent on sabotaging their own cases. In family law you see it all the time. I just thought that given the fact that an immigration client could be facing removal, they would take their cases more seriously.

None of the three people who are the subject of my post seemed like bad people - just hot heads....hmmm... like me, I guess....lol.

At any rate, I'm calm now. Take care!

Monie, calm down. Perhaps you need a vacation. No one said practicing immigration law would be easy.

Geez, if I see this situation one more time, I'm going to lose it! Three times, in the last two weeks, I have done immigration consults with people who have, for some stupid reason, e-mailed their spouse saying that the only reason they got married was to get their green card

STOP IT! STOP IT! STOP IT! There are immigration officers who will not give a flying f**k that you only sent the email because you were angry with your spouse! They are going to focus on the stupid written evidence that you only married for immigration purposes.

By the way, I don't think that telling your spouse that you only married them so that you can get a green card hurts their feelings - all it does is to make them angry, and if you express this in writing, you've just given them amunition.

So, just in case any of you out there are so ticked off at your spouse/ex-spouse and you want to write to them and tell them that all they meant to you was a chance at getting a green card - DON'T! To do something like that is absolute madness!!!

I apologize for the abrasive tone of this post, but if it stops one person from potentially ruining their case, then it will have been worth it.
