I don't know that 245i is even being looked at. After 911 the whole idea was put aside and unfortunately I don't think this will be something that will be looked at again as it is considered a blanket amnesty program.

My husband and I have been waiting for 2 years on 245i to come back and it doesn't look like it will ever happen.

Justice Department will never give you any kind of Explanation on any cases. As to how long it will take.
Reasons: First of all they do not have a system which can trace any case: like for example one of my friends have file for AOS for his son while the child was under 21 years of age in 2000, since then he have only heard once that's all and after that they have no knowledge about the whereabout the file.

245(i) is not even on the table. Stop looking for it to come back. 9/11 killed that and most of the other ideas they were considering.

I JUST REALIZED THAT THE ORIGINAL POSTER ON THIS STARTED THIS THREAD ON 01/01/02. CAN'T FIGURE OUT WHY BOOOB PULLED IT OUT OF THE ARCHIVES!!?? STRANGE. SO I THINK THAT JASSY ALREADY FIGURED OUT BY NOW THAT 245I IS PRETTY MUCH A DONE DEAL!!
