Does anyone know how to report suspected Labor Certification abuse to the DOL? I have noticed several companies that claim they could not find an American for their advertised position but it seems to be unlikely considering what the minimum requirement SHOULD be for that position.

I thought that PERM was supposed to launch audits on such employers and one of the ways such an audit could be triggered was by a tip from a concerned citizen.

I think you can try to call DOL and ask, or check out their website.
Under new system, applications are processed by computer, but are randomly audited.
Besides, because there is a glitch in the system, it sometimes ends up being reviewed by human personnel anyway.

In any case you can look up the DOL website (or call them) for the answer you seek.

Sug, I believe that falls under the jurisdiction of the Wage and Hour Division of Labor Dept. Not 100% sure though. I know they're the one that handles H1-B complaint.
