AP and EAD need to be extended...how?

Hello,
my AOS is still pending and my AP and EAD will expire within a month. I just wanted to know how and when should I extend those documents? How does the e-filing work? Any helpful comment on the subject will be appreciated

EAD needs to be renewed 90 days before it expires or you may fine yourself out of work for a while. I filed e-file for my last one and it takes just as long as renewing the old way, so if your EAD expires next month you had better renew right away then you wait til the 91st day from your receipt date and you go to your nearest service center and they will issue you a temp EAD if you don't have it yet. Hope this helps.

New EADs can be longer than 1 yr, the new rule is based on the length of the individuals immigration benefits application.
