If you have a H-4 visa, it means that your husband came here with some kind of H visa, which is a TEMPORARY worker. He doesnt have a green card, you both have non-immigrant visas. He is allowed to WORK but he is not a permament resident. Therefore you, as his dependant, are not a permanent resident either.
I dont know what your status would be once you are divorced but it will be one of these: either you will have to leave then (usually they will give you a couple months) or you will have to leave whenever his visa expires.
That "rule" of staying with your spouse for two years to prove the marriage is real does not apply to you. That is for spouses of US citizens you obtained their residence through marriage. That is not your case because you stated that you came with a H-4. Your husband is not a permanent resident nor a citizen.

I got married and came to America in 2003 with H4 visa .Soon we filed for Green Card and I recived my Green Card on march 2005.However my husband is talking about divorcing me now. My question is –will I loose my Green Card? For how long do I have to stay married to him to keep my Green Card? I heard somewhere that you need to stay with your spouse for 2 years after you receive your Green Card to prove that the marriage is real. Is it true? Please do send me a reply soon because I feel very helpless and insecure.
Thanks a lot in advance for all your replies
