Yes I know 2 people who went through the 2 at the same time.

FIrst they will do the I-751 and if you qualify, they will remove conditions and tell you that they are now proceeding to interview you for the N-400.

Be prepared, it could take a few more minutes. Carry as much paperwork as possible.

    B/s:
If you have a mobile home, drive your home to the USCIS office, just in case they ask to see something.

Thanks swissnut..are there any similar cases in this forum? did any one here take the citizenship exam at the time of the I-751 interview?

P.S. This is a new york case!

    msayoufi,

It means exactly what it says. Your I-751 will be adjudicated concurrent with the N-400. Prepare for the exam!

for the specialists on I-751 out there, i have a question..last friday i received a letter from the USCIS advising me that i have to appear for "NATIRALIZATION INITIAL INTERVIEW". i am not sure what they mean by INITIAL..before i filed the N-400 last November, i had filed my second I-751 based on the divorce waiver on APril, 2005..i haven't been called for an interview for the I-751 application yet, and i was surprised at how fast my N-400 was processed. Anyways, my questions are:
1-Is it possible that i will be interviewed for both the I-751 and N-400 at the same time? (the notice of action advised me to learn about the U.S government and history!!!

2-i received a letter in the same day from Vermont, but this time it said that "your I-751 will be adjudicated at the same time the N-400 is worked" what does that mean? is it the answer to question 1?
    Thanks for your input
