Our government, the US government, is at a dead-end: on the one hand, it realizes that it cannot prolong occupation in Iraq, while on the other it admits that it doesn't have the minimum conditions needed to pull out without damaging their interests.

In the eyes of the world, the so-called 'crusade on terrorism' is unavoidably heading down the path to a humiliating defeat.

We the American people, just as in the case of Vietnam, will put an end to these unjust and criminal wars.

We hope that our authorities will learn that war is not the solution to the growing problems afflicting the planet; that proclaiming our right to irresponsibly attack 'sixty or more dark corners' of the world, even when we are already stuck in two of them, makes our differences with other countries more complex and profound.

Further to my position that the US continues to meddle and influence in other countries' affairs, CIA operatives and their paid spies in Venezuela are now busy creating a scenario to defeat Chavez or coup if he wins. Chavez is a pain in the *** for US and Bush whom he recently called a Devil. The US cannot afford to let him lead his country for another six years. He's causing so much trouble to the US. Like other leaders who won the election, a scenario would be created to make it appear that Chavez has cheated. Then, groups that the US support backed up by CIA resources would try to grab power. Or if Chavez continues in power, it won't be long he shall be assassinated.
