Hi there!
I would like to know if somebody have similar experience and could advise.
Three months ago I applied for the renewal of my EAD, it's been almost 90 days (next week) and I still haven't received any letter setting me up for an appointment to have my fingerprints taken. My work permit expires in August. I called the National number and spoke with an officer, who made a referral to have them send me this letter, that didn't help me much, because several relferall were done for me in other situations and that didn't help.......so without waiting for a month ( that's the amount of time the officer told I SHOULD be receiving this letter in ) I made an appointment at the local USCIS office, the appointment is in two weeks.
I am really worried, because last year I didn't lose my job for one day, my work permit took forever, they are totally disorganized and I had to ask for the help of a congressman, but I would have lost my job anyway, the very last day I received it , so I could keep on working......I am so terrified at the idea this can happen again.......anyway do you think 90 days is the regular amount of time it usually takes before receiving an appointment? I hope I'm just being paranoid!
Thank you.
