You can apply for citizenship 3 years (less 90 days) from the time you are granted permanent resident status if married to a USC (and you meet the residency requirements). It doesn't matter what country you are from - the rules are the same.

It depends. Most places report about a year from applying for citizenship until you take your oath. You can look at the processing times for your local office for an estimate.

So far for me it is now 4 years and 2 months since I applied to adjust status and I am still waiting for my citizenship interview.
