See, I told ya so. Didn't I say last week these senators gonna find some reason to not pass it as it was.

Now, ya'll might be wonderin, 'Why they do that'?

Simple, if ya understands politicing and stuff. They never intends to pass it to begin with. It be a show to get people to think sum these politicians believe in the cause. It was to gets ya'll to vote fer em next time around since it be lookin like they be trien to gets you stuff now. Seen this dozens o times already. Any bill that be benefitin sum group too much and be hurtin another always get flushed. It be makin fer a good show to gets ya'll excited and stuff. But dont be thinkin fer one second our guvernment gonna give ya a free lunch. Aint gonna happen.

The truth is they aint gonna let a bunch of law breakers hose our own people. A politician be a liar and cheat. They kiss babys on camera then steals their lollypop off. But, they is loyal to this here country.

The democrats will never deliver on immigration; they use immigration issue to turn Latino votes against republicans. If immigration reform passed they will not be able to use this card any more. With all respect for president Obama we saw him out campaigning for health care reform for billionaires’ tax cuts for energy for DADT but we never see him out pushing for immigration reform. He only comes out to be sorry it did not pass; we needed to see him talking to his senators about voting for the bill not sorry for its failure. If the republicans had sponsored this bill it would have been a law by now. My advice for the immigrants to lobby the republicans to pass immigration bill, the democrat are too weak and not interested. The president did everything he could to pass many bills, he did not do anything to get immigration reform done.

I 100% agree with you Labib2. Dems. have always played around with immigration bill to get latino's vote. If they were that sincere they would have accomplished it last year when they had senate and congress in their hand. Harry Reid was the one who played around with the bill in 2007 and made sure it doesn't pass in republicans era, and now they again are playing with latino's vote. Shame on them and shame on republicans.

I'd say the Republicans are the ones who will loose the Latino vote from now on. Bush successfully courted it in 2000 and again in 2004.

Remember that the IIRIRA Bill in 1996 was really a Republican Bill which Clinton put his name to. That was a draconian enough bill aimed at limiting and removing as many immigrants as possible. Looks like son of 1996 Bill (Russell Pearce's 14th Amendment birthright) could be another such bill only this time it's impact will be much greater IMO.

This vote proofs that the congress wanted to keep some people as slaves with no right so rich employers can get richer working those slaves at low wages. Every few days they deport few immigrants so the rest will go deeper in the hole and work for cheaper wages and live in miserable neighborhoods, use emergency rooms and Americans hate toward illegals grows higher. If America does not want any illegals here, they can be deported in few weeks. But slaves are always needed

The Republicans cannot loose the Mexican vote, they never had it. So they have nothing to loose from opposing amnesty. What they should do is end chain migration, which would reduce the Mexican vote here and damage the Demoncrats.

I agree with Federale86 - END CHAIN MIGRATION.

If you immigrate to America, and you miss your family sooo much...GO HOME; you can reunite with your family tomorrow if you want to.

It is NOT America's responsibility to reunite an immigrant with family members that said immigrant willingly left.

It is 100% untrue what you say about Obama. Have you forgotten the compelling speech he delivered to the american people on July 1 2010 pushing us to accept CIR? The nerve of him pushing in such a time of poor economy and high unemployment! In addition, Obama has always been for dream act. always.

Here is speech blatherings to refresh your memory..
