  • approved and got green card on asylum can he travel.?

    Hi Guys

A friend of mine came to usa in 1997 applied for asylum and after 14 yaers he got approval and green card as well he ask me can he travel to his country.? my answer was no but i would still want second opinion because i think if you got green card on the basis of asylum and he had mention that he is not safe in his own country because of political reasons thats why i told him i think you can not travel to your country.

    am i correct.?
i will appreciate any helpful feedback
    thanks

Your friend's asylum application was EVIDENTLY BOGUS!

Tell him to please travel to "his country" AND TO STAY THERE!

Going to his country, no matter which reason, will not look appropiate to go back to his country.
