Just wondering- In recent months what have you seen as the time frames for path to citizenship. I know it differ by state but recently someone wrote that from time of application to swearing in took 2 months. A friend green card exp and she is eligible for citizenship but she was thinking that she would put the green card on hold and apply for citizenship. She is just nervous about going this route because her elderly father lives out of the country and if anything happens to him she needs to travel. Thanks for reply.
