    Yes it is for our H1B employee who we are applying for PERM.

    "No location restriction" as long as you're using your username and password, you can do so wherever you are. But ETA 9089 is not for H-1B, that's for PERM - ETA 9035 is for H-1B / Labor Condition Application. Oh, you mean the registration is for your H-1B employee who you're applying for PERM.

    Background - Need to register on the DOL portal to get account and register our law firm to comlete the 9089 form filing for current H1B employee. I am the hiring manager. I have been told by our current immigration lawyer that as our company is registered in California, I must access this website via a computer that is located within California...i.e if I am traveling on business to Florida I can't complete the form from my PC from that location.

    This seems very odd. I can't see the logic to have a web portal and then put some location restriction on it's use. The law firm cannot provide me with any documentation or formal written direction from DOL that supports this requirement....needless to say I am skeptical.

    Can someone comment on this either through experience or link ?
