My friend got deported last summer. He had spent his whole life in America. They had a valid ssn and they were ordered a voluntary deportation a few years back i guess. He got stopped by the cop driving and drinking and was deported from jail within a 2 months. My question is if he marries his fiance. Is there anyone WAY OR POSSIBLITY for him to come back sooner with a Pardon or waiver of any sort?? A lawyer had told him that if he gets married he could do something about???

A_2_da_Z: If your friend had spent his "whole life in America," then he would be an American citizen.
What you mean is that he was an illegal alien whose parents disregarded America's laws and sovereignty...and then he and his parents further ignored an order of deportation (voluntary departure).
Now he is getting an up-close-and-personal look at the country that I'm sure he always thought that he loved and adored, and is being reacquainted with his ...er, culture and language and history. I bet that he couldn't be happier.
Have his parents left yet??

Yeah, they were on the idling bus that Someone12 was going to drive.
