F-2 Visa to K-2/Green Card?

Im on F-2 Visa dependant on my student dad (F-1 Visa) If I marry a Citizen what do I have to do to switch to K-2 then Permanent Residence or skip the K-2 part entirely because I'm already in the USA? Only benefit I see in K-2 is that I can work while waiting on the I-130. Can I just apply for Work Authorization after sending in the I-130 & Adjustment of Status or is having the I-130 Aproved and/or having K-2 a requisite of getting Work Authorization while waiting?

if you marry a usc and you are in the states already, go through AOS. You will have to apply for EAD (work permit) and Advance parole at the same time with I-485 and I-130. Don't forget to file everything concurrently.

So basically I gota everything at once such as I-130/EAD/Adjust Status together while in the USA?
