I am in the process of submitting the I-130 for my Cuban wife and then will submit the I-129 for the K3 visa. She has a 2yo daughter that we cannot bring here yet, but want to later. My reasons for not bringing her now involve issues with the real father to let her go. My question is should I go ahead and apply for her daughter now on the I-130 and the I-129 (K4) and have an approved visa or get my spouse here and apply later?

You can not bring the daughter beofre the mother on a K visa. If the mother arrived at the same time they would be K3 and K4. Otherwise you must wait for the entire time necessary for I-130 approval. Hopefully that time will be reduced now that USCIS is completely upgrading their system as a result of the increased fees-- RIGHT??
