Can K visa be changed?

A lady comes to the USA on a K visa. The guy turns out to be a rotten *** and she refuses to marry him.

She has some family here so she tries to get a job.

Is it possible to get that K visa changed say to a work visa so she can stay legally?

When you enter on a K-1 visa the rules say if you do not marry within 90-days or do not marry the petitioner you must leave. There simply is no way around this.
