I-130 fee

My husband filed I-130 last Friday with $50 short of the correct fee. We wanted to send them the add'l $50 immediately but don't know how Nebraska Service Center treats that. The I-130 form says $135 but we saw the site saying it's $185. Anyone ever experienced this before? Thanks.

If I recall correctly, if the fee is wrong the CIS Service Center will send your package back with a note about correct fee.

Sigh, we still don't have a receipt yet. Is there a chance that they might have throw our packet into one dark corner. Will they work this out just to give us receipt for the incorrect fee?
