    hi, I am being sponsored by my mother (already a citizen since last year); my process was approved in 1995, how long until they call me and is it ttrue that when that happens I have to go back to my country and they will make me wait for 10 years ???

      suzi: You are in US, and you have an approved petition since 1995. Now your mother is a citizen.
      Make a copy of your notice of approval, highlight the date of approval:
      Then write on the approval notice:
      Since I have become a Citizen Naturalization Certifictae No........Place of issue........
      date of ............
      please inform the status of this approve petition. Signed by your mother.
      Mail under certified returned receipt. This should work for you. What is your Service Center.

        my office is ny (albany)you mean a copy of my Mom's citizenship with my approved petition? thanks so much for clarifying, by the way, do you know if there is any relation if I file for bankrupcy?

          suzi: If you file for bankrupcy, you become a public charge, how will you support? is your mother willing to do and complete I-864 go through all.

            hey, sab, I really appreciate your advices, I am really lost here...and you are "an angel"..(wherever you are!)...but I don't have a clue what you meant by "public charge" and I-864 ?!! is this some kind of form? what she has to do if I file for bankrupcy? (by the way: my ex-boyfriend dig this deep hole for me!) thanks again !!
