15 YEAR OLD STUDENT

Hello I know a 15 year old student who has been in the US since he was 2 years old, his father just died and does not know how to reach any of this family in his native country. He has no other famli here in the US .Right now he is a senior in high school, and graduates in a month.
he doesnt know what to do and cannot afford legal advice.So after he graduates he is in a bad position. Are there any suggetions anyone can make?

Under no circumstances should this student leave the United States...If he's been here since 2 and is currently going to school, he will be guaranteed a path to legalization when the immigration bill passes..Therefore, he doesnt have to go to the embassy and ask to leave the country..best thing for him is to stay somewhere, friends's house possibly, and wait to the immigration bill to clear congress...he will be eligible throught the dream acts and will be put on a clear path to legalization.

There are many non-profit organizations that can advise you in this matter, even churches can give you money for legal advise or someone at the church might be a lawyer who is willing to donate his time. There are many options, in this matter, and it is better to take advantage and action while he is still under 18. After he turn 18 he is on his own. If you are a citizen, then you can adopt him, just something for you to think about.
